This is why I decided to leave my career as a general machinist and left the metal cutting industry of nineteen years and pursue my passion. I want to help other people like me who feel hopeless and have tried everything to get well but nothing seems to help. Your immune system is linked to the stomach which is called your second brain and I truly believe you can change your entire health by just eating well and treating your body like a temple to promote overall optimal health and longevity.

37 Melbourne Street,
Doesn’t matter if you're new to making crafts or have been doing crafts for a while like me! My name is Karen Shipp and I live in Kingsville. Crafting is part of my family as my mother used to own a store in Elora, ON, called ``The Hen House``. She made Faberge eggs, teazel trees, and painted. I worked in Home Decor at Colasanti's Tropical Gardens in Ruthven, ON, for many years. I made bows, decorated displays, and taught adult and kids craft classes.
If you have any other craft ideas you would like to learn, I’m always open to suggestions!
I’m here to help and have fun!
My name is Kathy Harnadek and I, along with about six others, take outer milk bags and make three feet by six feet sleeping mats and large carryall bags for the homeless and needy youth in Essex County. These are taken to the Leamington Youth Research Centre on Sherk Street in Leamington called ``The Bridge``, that bridges the gap between youth, ages fourteen and twenty-four, and provides them with the resources needed to excel. The youth use these carryall bags to carry donated groceries and the mats are used for sleeping outdoors. The Bridge also has a separate facility, which has ten beds, five bathrooms, a shared living space, kitchenette and is supervised by staff throughout the night, for youth between sixteen and twenty-four. They are housed for just under a year and participate in programming to assist them in moving towards independent living.
We also make knitted items, such as toques, headbands, scarves and mittens/gloves for The Bridge and other non-profit groups.
Please donate all your outer milk bags or yarn directly to the Community Centre to assist us in our volunteer work helping these youth.
Monthly Jackie and Savanah come in to host our BP clinic. Jackie is a great resource to help answer your concerns about your health. Savanah is also a great source of information surrounding retirement living. She is able to answer questions about our beautiful home, retirement living and our short stay program. We both like to support the community as best as we can and the Kingsville Community Centre provides a great spot for us to do so.
